Child and Adolescent Psychology
There may be nothing as upsetting to parents than to see their child struggle. Significant life events and developmental disorders can lead to problems with behavior, mood, sleep, appetite and academic or social functioning. Children, like adults, can often benefit from therapy by helping them develop coping and problem-solving skills. For a child, the therapeutic environment should be one where they feel safe and comfortable. By working with you, as well as your child, we will develop new strategies which will yield positive results.
I understand emergencies with children can arise more frequently than when working with adults. I make myself available to you and your child by phone during non office hours. Emergency visits will be accommodated as they arise.
